Management Note
How USS is governed
USS is managed by two main bodies: the General Body consisting of 30 members and the Board of Management, also known as the Executive Committee, consisting of 7 members.
The Board of Management makes decisions based on the opinion of the majority. The Executive Committee meets at least four times each year, while a general meeting takes place once a year. Every three years, the Executive Committee election takes place in the convention of the General Body.
The General Secretary is directly accountable to the Board of Management, and the Board of Management is accountable to the General Body.
