Organization Overview
Unnayan Sahayak Sangstha (USS) is a non-governmental, non-profit development organization established with a deep commitment to support disadvantaged people, especially rural poor, hardcore poor, tea estate laborers, Manipuri Adivasi communities, Haor dwellers, women, children, and marginalized groups.
Since its inception, USS has implemented various development programs in social mobilization, awareness creation, health and family planning, adolescent reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, training, employment generation, non-formal education, relief, rehabilitation, and community empowerment.
The organization works with a people-centered approach. It believes that sustainable development depends on human resource development, awareness, training, unity, dignity, and increased bargaining power of powerless communities, especially women and marginalized people.
